Gandalf The White
''I come back to you now - at the turn of the tide!''
At the bridge of Khazad-Dum Gandalf the Grey fell into the shadow while battling
an evil spirit of the ancient world - a Balrog of Morgoth, (The Silmarillion
tells the tale of Morgoth and the Balrogs.) Gandalf killed the Balrog but
he also passed into the shadow-land and died. But he was sent back as Gandalf
the White until his task was done, (to restore good back into Middle-Earth,) and
then pass back to Valinor where he would live for the rest of his days. Gandalf
had a major role in Lord of the Rings, as so did all the fellowship, destroy the
ring. After the war, he passed over the sea with Galadriel, Celeborn,
Bilbo and Frodo. he passed away over the sea in September 29, 3021 T.A.

GLAMDRING Glamdring is an elven weapon and is wielded by Gandalf. The runes on its blade spell out, ''Turgon King of Gondolin wields, has and holds the sword Glamdring, Foe of Morgoth, hammer to the Orcs. Gandalfs transformation is all-encompassing. The tangled grey hair and beard is now smooth and white, the white clothes befitting his new rank as leader. only his sword, Glamdring, remains the same.

BROOCH The ornate design of Gandalf's brooch is inspired by the leaves and flowers of the Mallorn tree.

Thought lost after his cataclysmic duel with the Balrog, Gandalf returns from beyond fire and death to muster the forces of light. On his return the wizard sheds his grey mantle and takes up the title of Gandalf the White.

The staff represents Gandalf's wizardry and wisdom.
White robes indicate that Gandalf is at the head of his order.
Gandalf always carries his sword, Glamdring, in readiness for war.
Gandalfs face is always in a resolute expression which indicates Gandalfs determination.
